The teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages ERI BT “UAB” sustainably are increasing their professional growth – this time at the two-day 3rd Forum for ELT professionals ‘𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲’, which marks the era of strategic change in higher education reform in Ukraine, held at the Kyiv National Trade and Economic University (KNTEU) on November 8-9, 2019.
The Head of the Department Lyudmila Hnapovskaya together with the Assistant Professors Alla Khodtseva and Irina Lyashenko took part in a series of training for indifferent professionals who are ready to embark on the path of positive change in the reform of the foreign language teaching system. Experienced experts from the leading Ukrainian higher education institutions, the Heads of the professional associations and international organizations and Unions of English teachers, the prominent European coaches and professors, the responsible persons from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the British Council sincerely shared their ideas and experiences, made perspective suggestions to help the ELT teachers reach the path through the training quality teaching, empower higher education and build the capacity of regional communities of practice. Successful communication and fruitful work in practical classes provided a number of encouraging practical ideas for the implementation in the Department’s work.
