At the invitation of the Hungarian Banking Association, Taras Savchenko, the Head of the Accounting and Taxation Department took part in the 6th European Money Week in Hungary.
Within this week, a number of educational and information activities were held to improve the literacy of students and schoolchildren, as well as exchange of experience in this field between representatives of different countries. In particular, Savchenko Taras:
1) delivered a presentation on them of transparency and financial literacy in the financial sector of Ukraine; and held meeting with the management of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Miskolc, including the Dean, Professor Mariann Veres Somosi;
2) made a presentation at the conference on financial technology development held at the University of Pécs on 5 March;
3) was awarded by the Hungarian Banking Association for the development of Ukrainian-Hungarian cooperation in the field of financial education.
Participation in these activities helps to maintain and further develop scientific contacts with representatives of the academic community of Hungary and creates additional opportunities for international mobility of teachers and students, as well as to enhance grant projects.
