On February 20-26, 2020, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation Vynnychenko N.V. realized the working visit to Tbilisi (Georgia) by the invitation of Georgia Association of Financiers.
The visit program was focus on discussion how to improve local finance management using the programmatic targeting method in planning and executing local budgets. During the working meetings, the best practices of Georgia and Ukraine in implementing the program-targeted budgeting method, evaluating the efficiency of the budget process, public participation in the budget process were considered. The program also included visits to the municipalities of Zugdidi, Mestia and Signagi for exchanging an experience in the field of managing local finances.
